Travis Barker confirms Blink-182 are working hard on their upcoming album to follow up 2011's "Neighborhoods". The California trio are absolutely excited to be making new music together.
“We had seven years off, and the last album… was us barely getting back into the rhythm, recording an album because it was expected of us and we’d gotten back together and everyone wanted to hear new music," said Barker enthusiastically as he recently spoke to the UK's Rhythm magazine.
If you think you've heard the finest and most awesome Blink song already, you're dead wrong! The best is yet to come according to Travis, “I feel like the best is yet to come, the next album is going to be exciting. For the most part the last album was recorded in different studios, we weren’t always in the same room. We made it happen and it was the best it could be at the time with us three. I think in the future it can be crazy.”
Bassist Mark Hoppus made a post on his Google+ account about beginning new music for the band where he states, "Yes, this is me opening a new file for a blink-182 song..."
I for one am absolutely super dooper excited to hear new music from the boys!
