Offspring Reveal New Album Finished

Dexter Holland from the Offspring took to his twitter account to announce the news of their still untitled new album being done.

"Leaving the studio in Hollywood now. The record is finished." Guitarist Noodles also confirmed more interesting tidbits concerning a new song called, "Hurting as One". However, his description is a bit vague, "It sounds emo, but it's not. It's punk. Kinda like 'Something To Believe In."

Offspring began recording their follow up to 2008's "Rise And Fall, Rage And Grace" in October 2011 with Bob Rock as their chosen producer. This record is slated to be out sometime in late spring or summer and "will mark their first-ever release with Pete Parada, who has been The Offspring's drummer since 2007."

The guys will be playing a slew of European festival shows beginning May 25th at the Sonisphere Festival in Madrid, Spain and concluding June 15th at the Greenfield Festival in Interlaken, Switzerland.
