New Album From Angelika & Demons
Underground Gothic metal band, "Angelika & Demons" released their full-length demo album named, "Easy Death" on December 17th, 2009. Already a well-known band on the net, their album is available through online music stores including: Amazon.com, Rhapsody and iTunes.
The Moscow natives recorded this demo between the last couple of years and songs like, "Zemlya", "Iisus Christos" were released in Croatia and have videos to their name. On top of all this,Tony McKormack of rock band "Ikubus Sukkubus", also collaborates on the song "Starfire".
For the most part the songs are performed in English but some also feature Russian and English all at once, this gives the music a bit of flair, novelty and originality.
Fans who love female-fronted hard rocking bands like Evanescence and Nightwish, will surely get a kick out of "Angelika & Demons" with its atmospheric Goth overtones and strong opera vocals.
The main thing the group wants their fans to take away from their music is the strong message that's part of its unique concept, it's even in the album's name. "In fact though the album is devoted to Death it is not really depressive because we take death not as a tragedy but as a blessing. We encourage everyone to change attitude to death and accept it like freedom, bliss, like a new birth. Don't suffer, don't cry, take death easy", says band front-woman Angelika.
