Good afternoon everyone, how are you? If you're looking for something to do tonight, other than your homework, why not check out some awesome stuff on TV? You know you wanna!
South Park, will air its second half of season 12. After quite an extensive break, starting from April of this year, dynamic duo Matt Stone and Trey Parker, are set to bring you fresh episodes of their troublesome fourth grade kids. You can see a mid-season sneak preview, here. Tonight's episode is entitled, "The Chinese Probrem," and is suppose to be super awesome. While you're at it, you can indulge in free episodes with seasons 1-12 online at SouthParkStudios.com. I really can't wait to see tonight's show, I bet it's going to be killer! The program airs on Comedy Central at 10 pm. If you're looking for something more music based, check out Amy Lee, from Evanescence, performing "Sally's Song" on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. We told you a few weeks ago that Disney is releasing the soundtrack to the cult classic film, "Nightmare Before Christmas." Lee covers this tune flawlessly, the compilation is out in local record stores now. Fans can see this article here, NBC will air it at 11:30pm. Enjoy! Comment Here |

Hello everyone and happy Monday! If you remember back in August, we told you about Butch Vig from Garbage producing the next album. The news has been confirmed!
Lead singer from Garbage, Shirely Manson, confirmed on "Late Night With Carson Daly," that her band mate and drummer will be working with the band on their seventh album. This is interesting news indeed, especially since Green Day wont be working with their usual producer, Rob Cavallo, who assisted on their previous albums: Dookie, Nimrod, Warning and American Idiot. Last month, Absolutepunk.com stated that producer, Joe McGrath, would be assisting with the band as well. This hasn't been officially confirmed either, and it's safe to say, that is still a rumor until further notice. If he does decide to help out, it will mark the second time McGrath has worked with Green Day since International Super Hits back in 2001. Again there is no official release date, but 2009 is by far very likely. This article can be read here from Buzznet.com! We cannot wait until the guys release their work of art, they're definitely on the right track. Nimrod Street would also like to wish Adrienne Armstrong a very happy birthday today, may she have many many more to come. |

Hey everyone, here is some cool news I found online! Greendayuk.net has provided a way for fans to sign up and receive newsletters about the guys in the following months to come.
What's even better is that there are rumors emerging throughout the internet that Greendayuk.net have also announced that the trio's next album will be out sometime in 2009. While we have not been able to confirm that this report exists at Greendayuk.net, it would not be that long of a wait considering this year is almost over. There is still no mention of what direction they have chosen to go or possible tour dates. Real or not however, an '09 release is very likely. As you know rumors about possible release dates have been popping up all over the internet in the last year. While there hasn't been details of exactly which month or date the album will be released, be patient and know that all the fun will begin faster than you may expect. I have signed myself up for this newsletter, so you'll never miss out on any important news from Greendayuk.net. I am confident that this Green Day era will be even better than the last, which was by far amazing! Once we confirm these reports, we will let you know. Regardless, I can't wait to exchange the information we find with all of our Nimrods! Comment Here! |

Good afternoon everyone in Nimrod Land! I'm glad it's Friday, so happy weekend! I'm sure some of the bookworms out there will enjoy the bit of news I have for them.
This November 4th, you'll be able to purchase the new soundtrack from the vampire film, Twilight. Paramore provide the first single off it called, "Decode." Lead singer, Hayley Williams, stated why she decided to name the song this title. "I chose the title 'Decode' because the song is about the building tension, awkwardness, anger and confusion between Bella and Edward." The song can be heard for free on author Stephanie Myer's website. Other inquisitive fans can read the Rolling Stone Magazine article here. You can pre-order the Twilight Soundtrack from amazon.com for only $9.99. The film is due out mid fall on November 21, 2008! Don't miss out! |

Hello, how are you?Music website, 411.com has gathered several music fans to compile lists for The Best Singles Of The 1990's.Several of my favorite songs from this decade have made it onto their tops.
Green Day made the list with their song, "Longview" from 1994's Dookie. Who could forget this infectious single about doing absolutely nothing all day long? It defined the era like no other song possibly could.I know we can all relate to it no matter what! Not to mention it had a killer video! Their other hit, "Good Riddance(Time Of Your Life)," made it's way to the top five as well. Peaking at number 2 on the Modern music chart, it is by far the best selling single off 1997's album,Nimrod.Whether it's about breaking up or celebrating your graduation, everyone can remember a special memory when they hear this tune. A typical 90's child would also lists songs from,Rage Against The Machine's "Killing In The Name of,"Metallica's "Enter Sandman,"and Red Hot Chili Peppers,"Give It Away." All of which are awesome songs till this very day.You can read this article here. If only the music today was still this good. |
