To be released October 15 via Rude Records Gainesville, Florida natives Less Than Jake spilled the beans on their upcoming album "Greetings and Salutations".
The band will give fans a sneak peek of their new material when they play Reading and Leeds this weekend, as well as rocking out to old favorites.
“Reading was our first ever show in the UK and it always holds top spots for our favorite festival to play. We are beyond humbled to be able to continue to play such a legendary festival," says lyricists and drummer Vinnie Florello.
Recorded in their hometown at The Moathouse the album is produced by Roger Lima, includes two limited edition EP's "Seasons Greetings" and "Greetings From Less Than Jake", as well as two unreleased songs.
"The dozen tracks are pure unfiltered Less Than Jake, Sunny ska mixed with barn-burner punk rock, more intended to get long-time fans and first-time listeners warmed up and moshing in their living rooms and singing along to every lyric. Keeping its signature mix of punk roots and horn-driven melodies, songs like 'A Return To Headphones' and 'Finer Points of Forgiveness' take the best of old-school Less Than Jake and put on a fresh coat of paint for an amped-up listening experience."
As far as touring goes, Less Than Jake will return overseas to the UK this November for the Vans Warped Tour and hit up the Road To Warped Tour which will feature New Found Glory, Man Overboard, and The Story So Far.
