Paramore are super excited about the follow up to "Brand New Eyes" and have been hard at work on the forthcoming album. They've been collaborating with bass player for Nine Inch Nails and Beck Justin Meldal-Johnsen.
Hayley Williams spoke to NME about how refreshing and laid back the whole recording process has been this time. “That time in the studio was easily the most relaxed, inspired, and liberating experiences we have had in any studio thus far.” Additionally, Williams states what has inspired her musically lately. “Musically, I am most inspired by the personality captured in every instrument. That, to me, is actually what is making up this newer sound that is happening.”
Many of Paramore's lyrics have dealt with heavy subjects such as broken hearts and bad relationships, although this time around Williams promises the newer material will be more upbeat. “I am laughing things off a lot more easily these days than I was at 19, when I wrote the last album. A lot of change … a lot of positivity. Even the songs with the more serious subject matter feel less toiled and troubled.”
Paramore took to blogging about completing a song called, "Daydreaming" this past April but the new album is still quite a bit away.
