ImageHello Hello! After watching the VMA's last night, you're probably wondering whatever happened to your favorite bands of the 1990's right? Here's an interesting article about those same bands lucky enough to outlast most marriages nowadays. Speaking from experiencing that decade myself, I grew up listening to everything from Garbage, Green Day and even *Nsync.

washburnreview.org has mentioned Green Day and Tool as top staples of the era. I remember Dookie taking the world by storm, and whenever you'd watch MTV, "Longview" would be on. Being together since 1987, they have gone above and beyond with their career. After releasing the mega top selling, American Idiot, Green Day  have proven that they're not just some product of the nineties, but can define a whole generation. Kudos to our guys!

Heavy Metal band, Tool has acquired a huge faithful fan base  since their release of "Aenima." If you're lucky enough to get a ticket to their live shows, you are in fact blessed! The article states that the rockers sell out shows in a matter of minutes. That's awesome, congratulations to them! You can read this article here.

While, Green Day and Tool are still alive and kicking today, some artists aren't so lucky. Although, Smashing Pumpkins broke up a while ago, they have however reformed and are planning on touring this fall. Rockers Bush haven't separated, but haven't recorded anything close to what "Sixteen Stone" was. It's all pretty sad considering music of this decade was and is still very awesome. I would love to see a come back from most of the bands that invaded everyone's radios and televisions back then.
