Butch Vig & Joe McGrath To Produce Next Green Day Album

Hey what's happening fellow Nimrods? We've got some juicy news for you guys today.According to MusicDirt.com, it is being rumored that Butch Vig, from rock band Garbage, and Joe McGrath could be producing Green Day's new album.

In case you are not familiar with McGrath he has produced some awesome albums from top bands, they include: AFI, Against Me!, and Blink 182.

I know what you all are thinking, finally we have a  bit of news right? This sounds really amazing, I'm a huge fan of Garbage and if this is indeed true, it was definitely worth all the wait. Although the article seems to be pretty vague, we wanted to report on the rumored news as quickly as possible.
