Last time we heard anything from Radiohead was back in May of 2008 when they self-released their last record, "In Rainbows". Now a year later, the guys have confirmed that they're working on a brand new album.

The band will be working with their close friend and sound engineer, Nigel Godrich. Bassist Colin Greenwood said it's been going great, "really noisy and chaotic and really fun." You can read this from MuchMusic.com!

In another article, Greenwood talks about the early stages of the project, "it's at the stage where we've got the big Lego box out and we've tipped it out on the floor and we're just looking at all the bits and thinking what's next?"

Also, he spoke on working with Godrich, "I'm very impressed and grateful for Nigel our producer and his ability to make it all sound vaguely plausible."

While at the Great Escape music festival in Brighton, Greenwood helped launch a brand new music journal called Loops. Greenwood gave no hints or clues to when the Oxford natives would release their next LP.

Let's drift away from album news and discuss the subject of tours! Radiohead are said to headline both Reading and Leeds festivals this coming summer. Apparently, the quintet have some unfinished business to put to rest, "it was a bit frustrating when we were playing some of our own shows last year because it was light for the first half hour, 40 minutes of the show. So we wanted to do it as it was mean to be seen-darker and louder," Colin said.

That sounds like it's going to be a great show, we're excited to see what these guys have planned next!

Have a great day Nimrods!
