Hey Nimrods, the long awaited site layout has finally been revealed and thanks to Nimrod God's amazing power, we proudly present you the new and improved NimrodStreet.com! This is a huge step in getting our community on track to become the ultimate rock site on the internet. Not only is the new design awesome, but is definitely more user friendly and we are not even close to unveiling all the goodies to come.

We are in the process of ironing out some kinks here and there so we appreciate your patience. Please let us know of anything that isn't working or any add-on's you would like to see by using this form. There will be new features added and we will let you know as they are available.

Those of you that have been fortunate enough to catch the 21st Century Breakdown Tour know that the excitement does not fade quickly after the last note is played.

Green Day fan stories have started to circulate the Internet in full swing. Share your most memorable moments with us, as we have started doing for you. We invite you to upload any pictures and videos you have from any of the performances on our 21 Century Breakdown Tour Thread.

Not only this, you are also welcome to submit your very own reviews of the show. Already a few of our Resident Nimrods, Evasgreenday and Jeff and Matt Hardy, have submitted their own recaps of the event and they're fantastic! There is also my very own (NimrodOnElmStreet) detailed accounts of the August 5th Orlando performance and of course our very own Nimrod God will be writing his views on the concert as well.

As part of our ongoing effort to collect experiences from the Green Day Tour, we have added a video from Madison Square Garden's Alex Iglesias hitting Green Day concerts with his fancam trying to see how poetic fans can really be! Check out the hilarious video here!

Speaking of videos, Nimrod Street has uploaded its very own footage of the show on You Tube. The videos and pictures we were fortunate enough to capture are unbelievable. It was one hell of a night!

Well... After continuous and rigorous testing, we are finally ready to unveil it! Hey, we promised didn't we?

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, I give you, Our new homepage!

On a quick glance you will notice big changes. Our layout and look is completely different than our last one, and we have improved on some old features while still keeping all of the little content we had to offer before. However, I would like to formally turn to a new chapter and start writing in our book a new stage of completion toward our overall goals.

On a second glance over you will notice that the articles have expanded slightly and have more content than ever before. While there is some work in progress going on, we plan on adding more as time goes by.

Check back with us often as we will have daily news topics and headlines as well as occasional blurbs covering a vast array of topics.

Ok, so lets face it... we obviously made a mistake when we chose our Content Management System (CSM) That would be why we have not been updating this main site as much as we should....

Please bear with us, as you know we are struggling to achieve a level of stability that will allow us to better serve you!

Because of this I am announcing that we will be changing our homepage to fit our needs pretty soon

We have already started work on it, and we will kick it into full gear as soon as we are done with our move.

As some of you can tell there is a little bug on the page that is causing some template issues. Because of this and a few other reasons, we are now considering moving our hosting server to a different company. During this time our updates will not be done very quickly since it's messing up.

Welcome to our brand new main site!!

This is our first initial step towards bringing together everything Nimrod Street.

Here you will find Info on Music, Movies, Tv etc...

We will be updating this page very often, especially during the course of this week as we start breaking in our new CMS (Content Management System).

This system allows us to very easily bring new updates to you, your guests, like events, Contests, Tour Dates, Ticket Sales, and much much more.

To start off, here are the updates that have been done since Friday.

• Our Main Site is active... Obviously.
• We changed our look at the forums, Now the board and Nimrod Radio don't look like it's the holidays... I don't see why it was a bad thing in the first place... it's still winter....
• With the new site in place, I bet most of you are saying the same thing... "So now we have to see this site every time we want to see our posts?" The answer... NO...

  To go straight to the forums, type the address as:

  "http://forum.nimrodstreet.com"

  or

  "forum.nimrodstreet.com"

  depending on how lazy you are.

• Also, rows on our forum are clickable... meaning that you can just click the row and go to the corresponding forum/topic. That was actually the smallest update we did!
• Along with the updates, came our first mishap. While we were having our Web Host change our database passwords for more security. They "accidentally" deleted our whole forum database. Meaning we temporarily did not exist at all. Thanks to the second person we talked to, they were able to restore our database backup that was from the night before. Meaning that anything that was done on our forums after that backup was done, got lost forever. We learned a valuable lesson, no matter how good your Web Host is, they can't weed out complete morons who can't change a password without messing it up.......... We will take every precaution from now on to ensure that never happens again.
• One last thing... Some of you may experience dual scroll bars, maybe even three of them... This means you should get off Internet Explorer 7 and use Firefox Instead... BTW why are you blocking our ads? lol Yeah, we know exactly what is causing the issue... we just need more time to fix it... The weekend is over...

We have a few more updates in mind, and like I said, we will be adding more content to this site on an
average of almost, if not, daily basis.
