Basically you can moderate your own forum on any topic you'd like. Just Less Than A Month!

That's right kiddies! Time flies by so fast doesn't it? 21st Century Breakdown will finally be released after much anticipation and excitement on May 15th! And what better way to celebrate than to join a release party? That's right folks, Nimrod Street will be hosting a first of its kind Online Album Release Party! While the details are being polished out, we can tell you that you will be joined by other people as excited about the release as you are! We will let you know more as information becomes available.

Can't wait? Green Day's Know Your Enemy is to be released today as the first single off the new album! Nimrod Street is of course your source for information regarding the release and we have posted an article with more information! Once the track is available for download we will let you know!

Speaking Of...

Our 'Nform Your Friends contest will be coming to a close on May 15th and so far there are no winners in line for the grand prize! That means that come May 15th, we will have 5 extra copies of the new Green Day Masterpiece, 21st Century Breakdown!

So how do you earn yours? All you have to do is convince enough of your friends to join our community. The more of your friends that join, the more chances you will get to win one of the 5 copies we have secured in your name! Use the the 'Nform program that can be found here. We Have Been Doing Some Cleaning...

As we explained last time, Nimrod Street has been implementing New Rules And Regulations on the handling of old topics. When a topic has not been viewed or updated in a year, the topic is moved to the forum's archive section.

We have also posted on the forums asking you to give us feedback on changes you would like to see happen to our community. There is no better time to do this then while we are working on the nit and gritty code that is our site. If you wish to add your two cents to the development of Nimrod Street, let us know here.

If you haven't heard already seen, we have a new addition to our Nimrod ways of communication. Twiter! I am proud to say that Nimrod Street is jumping on the twit band wagon and will allow you to instantly post your twits on Nimrod Street. More info here. The Holidays Are Here!

We at Nimrod Street would like to wish you Happy Holidays to you and your family! No matter what you celebrate or believe in, please accept our sincerest best wishes to you and your kin, from our Nimrod family to yours.

That being said...

We realize that we missed sending out a newsletter last month and some of you may have noticed that our winter theme was recently added to our forums. The reason for this delay was due to the fact that we have been very busy preparing the next updates to our community! While our Resident Nimrods know part of the installments to come, we have a few surprises that will be unveiled at the beginning of next year. Please stay tuned for these changes as we will be announcing them soon.

The 'Nform your friends contest...

Hey Nimrods!

First and Foremost!

There are less than 5 days left to become a Resident Nimrod. It is very important that you understand that receiving the Resident Nimrod Rank allows you to contribute to Nimrod Street almost as if you were one of the founders. Don't believe us? Check out the forums and you will see a new section called The Nimrod Halls. In this section, only a select few will be allowed to contribute and have a say as to what happens on Nimrod Street! Don't say we didn't warn you... The deadline is October 27th... Our Birthday! Official Rules Here.

Speaking of Birthdays...

A few of you have had birthdays recently and we believe that not all of you received our message wishing you the very best on your day. We apologize for that and hope you don't mind waiting a whole other year before we try it again!

However, sorry as we are, as mentioned above, October 27th is a magical date in Nimrod history as the domain registration and very first version of the forums were done on that day! You will start noticing that there will be "annual stars" awarded as the anniversary of other Nimrod's registrations occur. While our budget sadly does not allow us to throw a Rocking Block Party for all of you, please feel free to stop by and say hi!

There Goes the Neighborhood...

In the spirit of creating a community that revolves completely around you, our Nimrods, we have created a section in our forums that will allow you to "move in" to your own home on Nimrod Street.

The Nimrod Street Residences will be hosting an open house to see if you have what it takes to be moderator of your own forum on Nimrod Street! We've got some cool news for all of you.

For the last 4 months, Nimrod Street has been undergoing a massive update session, and we have a brand new forum for all of you to check out. The update is the beginning  of a brand new chapter of our lives as you will notice that the biggest change is that we are now dedicated to being a Rock Community as a whole and not just a "fan site".

Yes, we did say that we officially have started our first contest!

Along with all the changes that we have made, Nimrod Street is officially holding its first contest ever. Using our brand new 'Nform program, you may refer as many of your friends as you would like and the top 5 Nimrods with the most users signed up will receive a copy of Green Day's upcoming album whenever the heck they decide it will be released. No pressure Green Day! JK! We are however serious about the contest, so drop on by and be sure to 'Nform all your friends. You may find the 'Nform program here.
