Rhianna

Bold and dangerous Rhianna is set to release her fourth album, "Rated R", on November 23rd, 2009. The album' s first single was released on October 20th and gave fans quite a shock when it set a dark, moody atmosphere instead of her usual bubbly popstar routine.

According to a press release by Def Jam Records, Rhianna was initially going to work with Justin Timberlake, Tricky Stewart and Chase & Status, but has decided to team up with Ne-Yo and Chuck Harmony instead who wrote "Russian Roulette".

Ne-yo tells MTV News about the new and ballsy Rhianna and what direction her music is going in this chapter of her life. "The best and safest way I can say this is that Rhianna has some stuff to say and she's going to say it. And she ain't going to make no apologies for it...I've heard a good majority of the album....world, get ready. That's all I'm going to say: World, get ready!"

This will be Rhianna's follow up since her 2007 release "Good Girl Gone Bad", which produced hits such as: "Umbrella", "Please Don't Stop The Music" and "Unfaithful".

The risque artwork for the album features the Barbados native topless wrapped tightly with barbed wire, sporting a flashy faux hawk and holding on to a chain. What can be more outrageous than that?

Some of the album's songs such as the opening track, "Mad House", can be compared to something Marilyn Manson would have done. The radio friendly upbeat track, "Rude Boy" is sure to be a nightclub staple.
