michellebranch2009Michelle Branch's third studio album titled, "Everything Comes And Goes" is still in pending stages even after it was originally slated to be released on November 10th of this year.

Last month Branch told The Boot on the CMA red carpet that she wasn't thrilled about the situation. "I'm so anxious. I've never had an album in my possession this long. My first two records I did in like 35 to 40 days. Anxious isn't even the right word. I don't know how I can elaborate on that any more."

Branch posted a message to her fans on her official website back in October explaining why the album was delayed. She mentioned that her label were laying off employees and as a result caused the release date to be pushed back.

"Up until two weeks ago my album was coming out November 10th. That all changed when a handful of people at Warner Brothers got let go during company wide lay offs. One person in particular has been a main part of my team for 10 years. He has been there since day one when I got signed and we had so much planned for this album and the future. This is just a result of the corporate world and the economic times we live in. So on a personal level this really sucks.

On a professional level, the label and I have collectively been trying to figure this out and have decided the best thing for the album is to push it back a bit so we can put my team back together and give the record the proper attention and promotion it deserves. Everyone is so fired up for this record to be out! We can't wait for everyone to see (and hear) all the hard work we have all put into this. It's my opinion that only then will you understand why we have taken so much time making this perfect. I need you guys to hang in there and not lose any faith. The album is coming out as soon as we get this all situated. But I need your support and your understanding."

Michelle has even gone as far as twittering snarky, sarcastic jokes about her label in hopes that maybe Warner will sit up and listen. "I wonder if I died in a car accident or checked myself into rehab if WB would finally release my record. What? Oops, not my inside voice". After her fans became aware of Meech's little publicity stunt and responded back, she simply tweeted, "Okay. Sounds like you all want me to live (so do I, believe me), and rehab sounds boring, so I'm admitting it now: I SLEPT WITH TIGER WOODS!!!"

Besides goofing off, Branch has been doing one-off gigs performing her latest single, "Sooner or Later", as well as other songs. According to The Boot, her record will drop sometime in 2010, no dates are yet confirmed.

Even through the crazy shenanigans, she still keeps her positive outlook and is hopeful that her adoring fans will love the new Michelle Branch. "I'm really proud of this music. I worked my butt off on this record, and I feel like it's my 'coming out' record...It's been six years since I've had a solo record out, and this one's in a different genre. Hopefully fans will like it."

mbranch.png Hello there everyone!

Michelle Branch is making a comeback with her first solo record since pairing up with Jessica Harp for The Wreckers. "Everything Comes and Goes" is due out September 29th and Branch has already released a couple of singles, "This Way" and "Sooner or Later". The starlet is even urging all her fans to call up their local radio station and demand that they get played.

Branch has also blogged about an interesting video shoot on August 10th, promising that it'll be great. "We shot out in the desert and it was 104 degrees for the most part. I even learned to drive stick shift!! I am seeing an edit sometime this week and I'm quite excited to see it. I have some photos from it for you guys to check out coming soon."

The tracks are already available on iTunes, and there is even an acoustic video of both songs posted on Michelle's official website. Also, kicking off a new "Tuesday Morning" segment, Branch is performing acoustic sessions of her songs, so if you have any requests, send them here.

Speaking of music and videos, the Arizona singer has a limited edition video anthology set which features eight of Branch's older videos, as well as videos from The Wreckers. This anthology is only available through pre-order exclusively through her official website and will be released on September 1st.

Tour dates have not been scheduled as of yet, however she has a gig set for September 19th at Penn State University. More information available here.
