kc2010 Kelly Clarkson is releasing the title track from her fourth album, "All I Ever Wanted", which was originally written and performed by Oklahoma natives, Aranda.

The groovy, funky tune is a scathing love song on a "damaged relationship full of repeated forgiveness and second chances".

This album is Clarkson's second one to hit at number one on the Billboard 200 and also features other hit singles such as "My Life Would Suck Without You", "I Do Not Hook Up" and "Already Gone".

Kelly is also working on a new album to be released sometime this fall or winter. She describes the sound as really different and unlike anything she's ever done before. "It's almost like Garbage-meets-pop-meets-Muse. It's a little different." Can't wait for that!

Before I let you go, here's a clip of the new song, "All I Ever Wanted". Enjoy!

KC2009Back in November we told you that Kelly Clarkson announced working on her follow up album to 2009's, "All I Ever Wanted". Now she's out to prove that she isn't just a talented pop star, but that she can also rock out! Earlier this month she told Atlanta radio station Q100 what's in store for the next era of her music.

"We're already working on it but it's probably not going to hit until, like, the fourth quarter of next year — around Christmas next year. There's still some like singer/songwriter stuff, but there's ... I don't know. It's almost like Garbage-meets-pop-meets-Muse. It's a little different."

Clarkson may be interested in a totally different genre, but in the end it could very well change all together. "I don't know how it's going to end up. Who knows? It always ends up being something completely different."

Leaks of the new material all seem to come from a You Tuber during a sound check or pre-show during her recent North American tour. Some of these include covers from Taylor Swift, U2, Elvis Presley, Rolling Stones as well as her own work. Is Kelly ready to shed her American Idol skin and become a full out rocker chick?  We will definitely keep you informed!

Before we go, check out a new song below called "Far From Home"!

hwrs.pngHowdy there Nimrods, how are you doing?

Well kids it may be back to school time, but here are three incredible tours that will keep you rocking out! These artists have new music and have stepped up to bring you one hell of an autumn rock season!

Paramore hits the road in support of their third studio album, "Brand New Eyes". The group will kick things off late September at the Fox Theater in Pomona, CA, and will end early November in their hometown of Nashville, TN! Opening acts are yet to be announced so we'll have more information as it becomes available.

As we previously discussed back in July, Idol queen Kelly Clarkson will begin her All I Ever Wanted Tour in support of her fourth album of the same name. Kellyofficial.com has stated that she'd be ending her current round of carnival tours on September 12th and begin her U.S. tour early October. You can also expect to see The Veronicas and Parachute as her opening acts! Sounds awesome!

Last but not least, rockers "Brand New" are coming to a town near you to show off their new LP called, "Daisy". They'll start things off September 16th at the Puyallup Fair and Events Center in Washington and will conclude their last show on November 28th at the Nassau Coliseum in New York!

These amazing tours sound super killer! I myself am super anxious to see both Paramore and Kelly Clarkson as I've heard they put on amazing shows! Swing by and check out the news here.

See? Goes to show that just because summer is over, doesn't mean you have to stop having fun! So get ready to put on your dancing shoes peeps, it's time to party!

alreadygone.pngHello again, welcome back to Nimrod Street!

The amazingly talented, Kelly Clarkson has completed the video for "Already Gone", the third video off her latest album "All I Ever Wanted". The ex-Idol gave fans an exclusive sneak peak on her website KellyOfficial.com

Looking beautiful in some fancy shmancy gowns, it is by far her most elegant video to date. It reminds me of  a cross between the videos for "The Trouble With Love Is" and "Miss Independent" from the album, "Thankful".

What makes this video cool is that she's accompanied by a room full of invisible musicians, therefore giving the illusion of  instruments floating in mid-air. It comes complete with a variety ranging from a piano, a harp, violins and cellos! To top it off, you'll be dazzled by her shiny jewelry which sparkles at every glance giving this vid that extra glow!

As for those of you wondering when the clip will hit your television sets, it'll premiere sometime this week. Be sure to sign yourselves up for the Kelly Clarkson newsletter to be alerted when the video will air.

On top of this, Ms. Clarkson will embark on a North American tour starting October 2nd, 2009. Supporting acts will be sister duo, The Veronicas and upcoming rockers, Parachute!

You can betcha it's a good year to be this American Idol!

Clarkson's album, "All I Ever Wanted" is now in your local record store shelves!

Have a great week Nimrods!

After a four year hiatus, VH1 Divas returns to tv on September 17th at 9pm and will bring together today's young singers at the Brooklyn Academy of Music to share one stage. The show will feature presenters and special guests all topped off with amazing live performances.

Head on over to Divas.VH1.com and submit your own "Divas Stories" either as a text or a video. Tell them your testimonies about how these talented ladies have inspired your life. Share your favorite moments, songs and the wildest thing you've done to show your idol what they mean to you. Chosen stories will be featured online and on television leading up to the program itself. VH1 will also be broadcasting older performances and music videos of past shows.

Lee Rolontz, executive producer for VH1Divas, shares his thoughts on the event. "An amazingly talented group of young women have successfully launched themselves into the global music scene since our last VH1 Divas show. We're very excited to have so many of them join us at this year's momentous event."

"Adele, Kelly, Leona and Miley have all captured the world's attention with their talent and have earned their designation as VH1 Divas this year. Don't let some of their young ages fool you - these women are among the best entertainers in the world and will continue to thrill music fans for a long time to come."

A huge congrats to Kelly and the rest of the girls for this well deserved honor!

Have a great day everyone!

Kelly Clarkson will have another single out called, "I Do Not Hook Up" written by Katy Perry. You can check out the new single cover by clicking here. This is the second track off her album, "All I Ever Wanted".

Speaking of that, Clarkson's fourth album is dominating the charts! For the second week in a row she's at number one on the Billboard 200. According to Hitfix.com, her two week tally is 345,000 even when it has dropped 65% in sales. Her next single is due out on the radio April 13, 2009.

Her last single, "My Life Would Suck Without You", already sold 1.4 million in the US alone. It topped the Billboard 100 for two weeks in a row.
