Flyleaf have released their video for "Again" which is the first song off their second album, Memento Mori on October 1st. Unlike their last laid back videos, this one packs a punch and makes a much bigger statement.

Their newest creation was directed by Meiert Avis who has done other clips for top notch artists such as, Avril Lavigne, U2, Audioslave, Jack's Mannequin and Bruce Springsteen.

Even though the entire production was shot on a green screen, the band's guitarist, Sameer Bhattacharya says the video still feels very real. "There are these images that start out as light and energy, and they slowly turn into these woodcuts-something real" These "woodcuts" were designed by Pat Seals, Flyleaf's bass player, who also did the album's artwork.

Singer Lacey Mosley puts her two cents in about her band's latest creation as well. "One of the videos that Meiert gave us for reference was Radiohead's 'Like Spinning Plates,' It's ethereal and industrial at the same time."

Previously scheduled to be released October 27th, the album will now be on store shelves on November 10th.

fflyleaf.pngHey there Nimrods, having a good weekend?

Flyleaf have returned to the spotlight once more with the follow up to their 2005 self-titled LP. The band has named their newest creation, "Memento Mori" and is due out October 27th. Flyleaf's new single "Again",  is available for you to hear on their official website, Flyleaf.com.

Sameer Bhattachary, who plays lead guitar for the group, recently spoke about the new album to TheGauntlet.com. He also brought up a tour and their supporting act.

"Recording 'Memento Mori' was an inspiring experience from conception to delivery. We are anxiously awaiting its release in late October. 'Momento Mori' speaks of second chances, hope, the reality of love and forgiveness, and acknowledging that in the midst of our morality there is purpose. We are excited for our upcoming tour with our friends in Paper Tongues. They are a group of men who share this vision."

Here's a video with singer Lacey Mosley discussing their recent escapades with MTV and what's in store for them in this new era.
