Have anything else planned for this summer vacation? Every summer thousands of tourists come to Florida to soak up some sunshine. For those of you considering vacationing here, get ready for the ride of your life!

Sure you've been to Disney, Wet n' Wild, and Gatorland, but how about something completely different? Universal Studios Orlando has a new ride open that will surely please the masses! The new Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster will give thrill seeking fans a unique new music experience.

Ever wondered what it would feel like to be 167 feet in the air while listening to your favorite artist? Well, guess what? Now you can rock out, while soaring through the air! This is the only coaster in the entire globe that offers a vast variety of artists, and these aren't just some no name, off the street singers either! 

These top notch icons have won Grammy Awards, Rock and Roll Hall of  Fame inductees, sold thousands of albums, and the epitome of pop culture! Everyone from Black Eyed Peas, Donna Summer, Kanye West, N.E.R.D., and Evanescence are included!

Maybe you'll choose songs you've danced to at night clubs or sang along to while dancing in your car. This adventure will definitely create long lasting memories to come!

"Riding a roller coaster, going fast and the energy that's in my music-they go hand-in-hand," says singer MC Hammer, which by the way, "U Can't Touch This" is also included. Adding onto this the Hammer himself says, "so riding Rockit at 65 miles per hour with the music pumping is going to be a lot of fun."

A unique blend of music is at the discretion of the guests by using a personal touchpad that's located on the lap bar. Choose from the diverse list of amazing genres: Classic Rock/ Metal, Rap/Hip-Hop, Club/Electronica, Pop/Disco and Country. After that, pick any song you wish!

Every seat is equipped with their own stereo speakers so you can enjoy your music at 90 decibels. You hear what YOU want to hear! Don't like a particular band or style of music? No problem, other passenger's choices wont interfere with your own.

What else is cool beans? Not only will your song will be selected as the soundtrack to your ride, but a music video can be purchased that uses on-and-off board cameras that mix music, and adds special effects!

Amy Lee from awesome goth band, Evanescence, says she is pleased to be apart of the madness, "I think that this is a really creative use of music. We're very excited to be a part of something so outside the box and for our fans to experience music in this cool new way."
