Howdy folks, how's everything going? Great we hope!
MTV.com posted an article about All-American Rejects possibly touring with Blink 182. Also, no one is entirely sure if the Blink boys will still be going out on the road with Weezer. Rumors are flying all over Internet, but nothing is really for sure yet. Let's hope it is because that would be one incredibly killer show don't you think?
The guys in AAR were dropping hints when MTV spoke to them at Wango Tango festival in Irvine, California. Singer Tyson Ritter says with a smile, "we will be going out with a nondescript band that is rumored to be reuniting...that's about all we can say about that. But it's going to be a big deal, and everybody's going to be there, so, 'Hey,' in advance."
Writer for the article, James Montgomery, adds that when MTV asked for more details who the band was, Ritter did give a major hint, "there's at least three...I think its' a ska band, so it might be 20. I don't know, it's not Sum-41. They're on hiatus." A spokesperson for Universal Music Group could not be reached at the time, but what's funny is all three of these acts are signed to the same label.
Touring with Blink would fill the slot for the AAR crew, especially since the headlining act for the Honda Civic Tour backed out. Ritter and his gang were overjoyed to fill us in on it, "it was supposed to be the Honda Civic Tour. We were actually supposed to get a Honda Civic car...but Old Man Civic calls me up and goes, 'Hey, I can't foot the bill.' I go, 'Click'-hung up on him. So, whatever, we're not doing that tour anymore. Gimme some Ford. Gimme some Chrysler. Maybe we can do a tour with Coffee-Mate, because everybody uses creamer."
Hmm....the suspense is killing me! Good news is, MTV provided a video along with the article. The All-American Rejects tell it like it is! Enjoy it!
